Mona is trialling its new cookie consent management tool and policy. This policy applies to visitors from Europe and will be rolled out to all our website visitors in early 2025.

Our Cookie Policy is designed to help our visitors understand how we use cookies on Mona’s websites. We use necessary cookies to make our websites work better for everyone. We also use preference, marketing and statistical cookies (when you consent to them). Please read below for more information.
Why we have a cookie policy
To meet the requirements of increasingly robust privacy and data protection laws globally, we have developed our Cookie Policy to tell you clearly about the cookies we use, and why we use them. This means you can make an informed decision about which cookies to enable.
As such, we have enabled opt-in choice for cookies that might hold identifying information about you.

What are cookies and what personal information do we collect using cookies?
Cookies, pixel tags and other tracking technologies (collectively ‘cookies’) are small text files that Mona (and our third party providers) may place on your computers, tablets and mobile devices when you’re browsing Mona’s websites. An IP address is a digital address for a computer, tablet or mobile device, and is needed so the internet knows where to send information (like websites you request).
As mentioned, we use different types of cookies. Some are placed by third party providers, and sometimes we share information about your use of our site with them. See our Cookie Declaration for the full list of providers. Some providers are overseas, including the USA and Ireland.
For European visitors, you can change or withdraw consent from the Cookie Declaration on our websites at any time.
What type of cookies do we use?
- Necessary: these are essential for our websites to work. They remember login credentials during a session, login status, store your consent state and detect errors. Our websites won’t work properly without these cookies, so you can’t disable them.
- Preference: these record your preferences, and let you provide comments through forms.
- Statistical: these collect statistical information about the way you interact with our websites so we can build a better experience for everyone. This can include statistics on your visits, and your behaviour and navigation while you’re on the website.
- Marketing cookies: Marketing cookies personalise content. They also tailor and measure advertisements.
- Unclassified: any cookies that we are in the process of classifying (sometimes with the providers of individual cookies).
